About Suzy:

I am an award-winning, successful entrepreneur with over 33 years of direct sales experience. I was also the Communications Director at a church for 18 years. I have been in positions of leadership most of my life.

I've been married to my husband Tom, for 33+ amazing years. We have 6 kids; 5 by birth, 1 through adoption from Jamaica, plus two bonus kids! (2 marriages) We have 5 beautiful grandchildren 6-year-old granddaughter, Skyler, her little brother Kato (4), Theo (3), Elijah (2), and Baby Evelynn (4 months).

Tom & I are active in our church and love to travel and explore new places and go to some Vikings games.

I’m honest and real. A what-you-see-is-what-you-get girl. If I say it, you can believe it. I don’t exaggerate or embellish “to make a sale”.

I love cute, colorful & fun. That’s what you’ll see when you walk in the store.

Suzy's Kitchen opened January 2020 with an online presence, Facebook shopping group, mail orders, and shopping in my 2-room, home-office store.

February 2nd, 2021, I signed a lease for a retail space around the corner from Hy-Vee in Pleasant Hill. We also added a couple occasional employees.

Late November, 2021, we moved into a fabulous new spot, directly above that 1st storefront location.

September, 2022, we opened our current location, at Outlets of Des Moines, in Altoona.

I strive to provide great service, with a quick response time, and am continuously adding to my product line, even taking some requests from customers. I strive to interact and meet my customers, and want you to know me as well… Life is about relationships!

The new storefront is ultra-colorful; more spacious, filled with many fun, unique products for your kitchen, home and gift-giving.

I love not being locked in to one type of product—I have ordered from well over 110 different companies!!
